Terms and Conditions

  • The competition is valid until July 2024.
  • The competition is valid for any individual signing up to receive communication from Voltex for promotional purposes or existing members of the current database updating their information.
  • Each individual can only win once in a 3-year period. If a duplicate winner is drawn within the 3-years a new winner will be drawn.
  • The prize is a R1000 ONLINE voucher to be used for purchase of any goods on the Voltex online store.
  • The winner will be randomly selected for each month from the information received from Mailchimp for new subscribers and updated subscribers.
  • The draw will be done by the marketing and accounting managers of Voltex and their decision is final.
  • If Voltex is unable, for any reason whatsoever, to reach a prize winner within 5 days of his / her entry being drawn, such prize winner shall be automatically disqualified and a new prize winner will be randomly selected.
  • The prize is not transferable. No substitution, cash redemption or assignment of the prize is permitted.
  • The voucher will be valid for a period of 6-months after which, failing to use the voucher code will expire.
  • By submitting their personal details, all entrants to the campaign consent to Voltex storing their personal information as provided, on the Voltex database and to receiving marketing related communication from time to time from Voltex. Voltex undertakes not to disclose the personal information of any entrant to any third party other than for the purpose of the campaign, unless required to do so by a court of law or under any applicable legislation.
  • Prize winners may be named and / or photographed in printed and / or electronic media and may be asked to participate in marketing activities.
  • Prize winners shall be entitled to decline any of the aforesaid by providing the company with a written objection, within 5 days of having received notification of the Prize. The objection shall be sent to marketing@voltex.co.za.
  • The campaign is open to all Voltex customers but excludes:
    • Voltex staff and their family members;
    • Staff of Voltex subsidiaries and their family members.
  • All entrants and prize winners fully indemnify Voltex, its holding companies, subsidiaries and assigns (including their directors, employees, members, independent contractors, agents, consultants, sub-contractors and representatives) against all and any loss and / or damages that may be sustained directly or indirectly from the campaign or resulting from the acceptance of and / or possession of and / or use of the prizes on offer, including but not limited to loss / damages arising out of / pursuant to personal injury, death, property damage and claims based on publicity rights, defamation and / or invasion of privacy.

 

  • 2023 LEDVANCE COMPETITION:
    Terms and Conditions:
    • Campaign duration: 1 Sep 2023 to 30 Nov 2023.
    • Any single Voltex invoice submitted by the customer via email during the duration of the campaign with any Ledvance products purchased for R250 or more emailed to marketing@voltex.co.za will be deemed a valid entry.
    • The prizes are as follows:
      • First Prize: Lighting make-over including the installation there-of to the value of R12500.
      • Second Prize: 3 x Ledvance Floodlights (100W, 200W & 300W)
      • Third Prize: 10 x Ledvance Rechargeable Lamps (Classic A, E27 or B22)
    • The winners will be randomly selected and the draw will take place during the first week of November 2023. The winners will be notified straight after the draw via email.
    • No late entries will be accepted.
    • The draw will be done by the management staff of Voltex and Schneider and the decision is final.
    • If Voltex is unable, for any reason whatsoever, to reach a prize winner within 5 working days of his / her entry being drawn and email sent, such prize winner shall be automatically disqualified and a new prize winner shall be randomly selected.

      • 2023 SUNSHINE DEALS COMPETITION Terms and Conditions of Sunshine Deals PromotionStandard Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to items purchased online or in-store.
        1. Promotion Duration: The promotion will be in effect from 23rd October 2023 to 15th December 2023 or until certain promotional items are out of stock, whichever comes first.
        2. Eligibility: The first ten customers within each Voltex region (as listed below) who make a single combo purchase of 1 Inverter, 2 Batteries, and 10 Solar Panels (as listed on the Sunshine Deals marketing materials and Sunshine Deals section on the website) during the promotional period will qualify to receive a complimentary Hikoki Drill (product code: HTC-DV18DJL) valued at R3200.
        3. Promotion Details: This promotion includes products advertised in the promotional leaflet and digital media that are part of the Sunshine Deals campaign. Only the first 10 customers in each Voltex region who meet the above criteria will receive the free Hikoki Drill.
        4. Pricing: All prices on all items are priced EACH.
        5. Claiming Your Free Hikoki Drill: To claim your free Hikoki Drill, follow these steps:
          – Make the eligible purchase as outlined above.
          – Provide a copy of your invoice, contact details, and the delivery address to your Voltex branch manager.
          – The branch manager will forward this information to nwendelstadt@voltex.co.za.
          – We will arrange for the complimentary drill to be couriered to the provided delivery address.
        6. Errors: We will make every reasonable effort to ensure the accuracy and clarity of marketing promotional content, product descriptions, product codes and purchase prices on the promotional material. However, in the event of any errors or inaccuracies, we cannot be held responsible for any loss, claims, or expenses arising from transactions based on such errors. The exception to this is in cases of incorrect purchase prices, where we will refund any amount already paid or follow the procedure outlined in our Returns Policy.
        7. Non-Transferability: The prize offered is non-transferable. No substitutions, cash redemptions, or prize assignments are allowed.
        8. Media Exposure and Marketing Activities: By participating in this promotion, prize winners consent to their names and/or photographs being used in both printed and electronic media. They may also be invited to take part in marketing activities.
        9. Opting Out: Prize winners have the option to decline the above-mentioned media exposure and marketing activities. To exercise this option, a written objection must be submitted to the company within 5 days of receiving notification of the prize. Please send your objection to marketing@voltex.co.za.
        10. Indemnification: All entrants and prize winners hereby indemnify Voltex, its holding companies, subsidiaries, and assigns, including their directors, employees, members, independent contractors, agents, consultants, sub-contractors, and representatives, against any and all losses and damages, whether direct or indirect, arising from their participation in the campaign or the acceptance, possession, or use of the offered prizes. This indemnification includes, but is not limited to, losses or damages related to personal injury, death, property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, and invasion of privacy.
