Voltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of a Legal Credit Controller for their National Wholesale. This incumbent will be reporting to the Legal Manager.
The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of support to the Legal department and ensure the efficient and effective administration of the office
Your areas of responsibility:
- Responsible for claiming legal fees from the insurer
- Consider, comment, vet, and give advice on all new credit applications (contracts) from branches
- Responsible for opening and loading of new accounts on K8
- Keep and maintain accurate database of Insurer’s legal fees, attorney invoices and salvage payment documentation
- Responsible for compiling a write off list after claims have been paid by the Insurer
- Help to maintain and update legal files, payments and correspondences.
- Perform accurate data capturing of salvages and payments from the Attorneys and clients
- Provide support to the Legal team with general administrative duties
- Draft payment memos from bank statements and sending same to relevant branches for allocation

Qualifications we are looking for:
- A Matric certificate is a MUST
- Completed or Studying towards an Accounting or Law Qualification
- Proven experience working in the legal department is a MUST
- CGIC Experience and Cregalink is an ADVANTAGE
- Previous administration experience is a MUST
- To have credit management experience
- To have knowledge and experience in the industry is an ADVANTAGE
- Computer Literate (Microsoft Word and Excel)
- K8 Experience is an ADVANTAGE
