Voltex (Pty) Ltd is looking for a suitable candidate to fill the role of a Legal Admin Assistant for their National Wholesale Office.
The purpose of this role is to provide a high level of support to the Legal department including, draft documents of various legal disciplines, manage schedules, and ensure the efficient and effective administration of the office.

The key tasks & responsibilities for this position are to:

  • Responsible for correspondence to attorneys
  • Prepare affivadits inclusive of commissioning and courier
  • Reconciliations and assist attorneys with direct information (advising of payments etc)
  • Prepare and gather necessary documents on requests for trials, etc
  • Extensive liaison with customers both electronically and telephonically
  • Responsible for Cgic salvages
  • esponsible for the entire process of ordering credit applications
  • Liaise with branches (branch managers and credit controllers)
  • Follow ups on liquidation matters
  • Maintain legal files on v – connect
  • Assist with information on general files as required
  • Responsible for handover process of new files
  • Ensure that all documents are delivered on time via the drivers
  • Assist debtors department as and when required

The key educational requirements and experience for this position would be:

  • A Matric certificate is a MUST
  • Proven experience working in the legal department is a MUST
  • Previous administration experience is a MUST
  • Systematic knowledge of databases and tracking systems
  • Strong knowledge of computer software packages and MS Office
  • A valid drivers’ licence
